Location: Slough
Salary: £36,000-£40,000 per annum + Bonus (Flexibility available for the right candidate)
Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
We are currently looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and growing automotive workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 2 qualified Technician (Level 3 preferred) with an MOT Testing licence to become part of a supportive team working on both traditional and electric vehicles.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles while supporting the wider workshop when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
Performing MOT tests (where qualified).
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
Working confidently on electric and hybrid vehicles (or having a willingness to develop EV skills).
Maintaining accurate service records and completing work to manufacturer standards.
Supporting the parts department and wider workshop team when required.
Delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (minimum requirement).
NVQ Level 3 is highly desirable.
Valid MOT Tester licence.
Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles.
An interest in or experience working with electric vehicles (EVs).
Good understanding of automotive parts and willingness to support other areas of the business.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
A reliable team player with excellent attention to detail.
Full UK Driving Licence.
