About the Company
Our client is an established RC Frame and Groundworks contractor delivering major projects across London and the surrounding areas.
They have built an excellent reputation for delivering reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, basements and complex structural packages. Their projects typically range from £10 million to £30 million across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to strengthen their operational team.
About the Role
As the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for delivering RC Frame and Groundworks packages safely, on programme and within budget.
You will lead the site management team, coordinate labour and subcontractors, manage the construction programme and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing RC Frame and Groundworks projects from pre-construction through to completion
* Leading Site Managers, Engineers, Foremen and subcontractors
* Developing and maintaining construction programmes
* Managing labour, plant, materials and site logistics
* Monitoring project progress, quality and health and safety
* Working closely with the commercial team to control project costs
* Attending client and progress meetings
* Identifying and resolving programme or delivery issues
* Ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality standards
About the Requirements
* Previous experience working for an RC Frame and Groundworks contractor
* Proven experience delivering projects valued at £10 million or above
* Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete frames, groundworks and basement construction
* Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and construction programmes
* Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs
* Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills
* Ability to manage projects from pre-construction through to completion
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
