How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Description

    Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations

    Managed end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience from onboarding through to offboarding.
    Coordinated onboarding activities, including the preparation of employment contracts and offer documentation, pre-employment checks, right-to-work verification, and new starter administration.
    Conducted regular audits of employee records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
    Maintained and updated employee information within HR systems, ensuring all personnel data, organisational structures, and documentation remained accurate and current.
    Coordinated induction programmes for new employees and monitored probationary review processes, ensuring completion within agreed timescales.
    Processed employee changes including promotions, salary reviews, contractual amendments, flexible working requests, and organisational restructures, ensuring all records and documentation were updated appropriately.
    Managed employee exit processes, including resignation administration, leaver documentation, system access removals, exit interviews, and associated reporting.

    Profile

    A successful HR Administrator should have:

    Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role.
    CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards (desirable)
    Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
    Proficiency in using HR systems(e.g. BambooHR or similar HRIS)
    Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
    An understanding of HR processes and confidentiality requirements.
    Knowledge of Right to Work checks and UK compliance requirements
    Ability to work in Manchester full time.Job Offer

    Hourly rate of £14.00 to £17.00, dependent on the level of experience.
    Temporary contract with potential for varied responsibilities.
