Location: Near York
Position: Full-time Contract (with permanent potential)
Pay Rate: £13.52 per hour (Starting) | £20.28 per hour (Overtime)
Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime hours (8-hour days)
The Role
We are seeking a reliable Van Driver for a company based near York. This is a full-time contract position with a strong likelihood of transitioning into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving: Operating various long wheel-based vehicles and vans.
* Deliveries: Transporting materials over short distances efficiently.
* Maintenance: Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure safety.
* Administration: Completing digital vehicle logs and physical paperwork.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent van driving experience.
* Licence: Valid UK driving licence (ideally clean) allowing you to drive Sprinter-size 3.5-tonne vehicles.
* IT Skills: PC literate to manage electronic logs and compliance data.
* Commute: Must have your own transport to travel to and from the workplace.
