How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A well-established organisation is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Application Support Specialist to support a major Salesforce implementation as it progresses through testing, data migration and go-live.

This is an initial fixed-term contract with the potential to be extended or made permanent for the right individual.

This role is predominantly remote working, with ad-hoc travel to Cambridge required.

    Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary internal Salesforce specialist and subject matter expert.
Support the final stages of a large-scale Salesforce implementation, including testing, deployment and post go-live support.
Work closely with implementation partners to review, validate and improve delivered solutions.
Configure and administer Salesforce, including objects, fields, permissions, workflows, automation and security settings.
Support data mapping, migration and data quality activities.
Assist with integrations between Salesforce and other business systems.
Support SmartFlows document generation, templates, offer packs and automated communications.
Build and maintain workflows, business rules, conditional logic and process automation.
Investigate and resolve system issues, defects and user queries.
Support QA, UAT and release validation activities.
Create and maintain documentation, process maps and support procedures.
Act as the ongoing owner of the Salesforce platform, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
    Experience Required

Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Application Specialist, CRM Administrator or similar.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, objects, field mapping, workflows and automation.
Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, migrations or major enhancement projects.
Experience with data migration, data mapping and data quality activities.
Experience supporting integrations with third-party systems.
Knowledge of Salesforce Flow and business process automation.
Experience with SmartFlows, Conga, Xpertdoc, Nintex or similar document generation platforms would be beneficial.
Experience working with implementation partners, suppliers and business stakeholders.
Please ensure your location is clearly stated on your CV. Applications without a location will not be considered.
