How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location: Barrow-in-Furness
    Pay: £325.00 - £475.00 per day PAYE (DOE)
    Contract: Long-term contract (2+ years)
    Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

    Land and Sea Resources are recruiting for an experienced HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator to join a major energy operator based at Barrow Gas Terminal.

    This HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator opportunity is ideal for someone with strong reporting, systems, data analysis and HSE administration experience who is looking to join a high-performing HSE team. The HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator will play a key role in delivering accurate reporting, maintaining HSE systems and supporting assurance activities across the business.

    As a HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual HSE reports for internal stakeholders, shareholders, regulators and industry bodies. The HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator will also support continuous improvement initiatives, manage HSE systems and provide valuable analytical support to improve business performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual HSE reports.

    * Manage leading and lagging HSE KPI reporting including LTIF, TRIF and RIDDOR statistics.

    * Maintain and verify workforce manhour reporting and forecasting.

    * Provide HSE data analysis and reporting support across the business.

    * Coordinate industry benchmarking submissions to OEUK and IOGP.

    * Manage and maintain the myHSES event and audit system.

    * Act as Super User for observation reporting systems and the Sevron COSHH management system.

    * Coordinate onshore and offshore assurance activities, including audit planning, documentation and action tracking.

    * Support 3rd Line of Defence assurance activities.

    * Coordinate HSE SAP processes including PR, PO and SES management.

    * Monitor HSE actions, investigations and compliance reporting.

    * Develop and improve HSE reporting systems and Power BI dashboards.

    * Coordinate legal compliance and statutory reporting processes.

    * Manage the Emergency Response rota for the Incident Management Team and Business Support Team.

    Essential Skills & Experience:

    * Experience working within HSE reporting, systems coordination or HSE administration.

    * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present performance data.

    * Experience using SAP and business reporting systems.

    * Excellent Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.

    * High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

    * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a range of stakeholders.

    Desirable:

    * NEBOSH qualification.

    * Experience within the oil & gas, energy or heavy industrial sectors.

    * Knowledge of Power BI reporting.

    * Experience with HSE reporting or audit management systems.

    * Understanding of assurance, compliance and governance processes.
