We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a specialist secondary school in West Drayton on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Biology Teacher, Chemistry Teacher, or Physics Teacher looking for a rewarding new role in a supportive school environment.
The school supports students aged 11-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and provides a structured, nurturing setting where students can achieve both academically and personally.
Science Teacher Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach a broad Science curriculum including Biology, Chemistry and Physics
Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum
Support students with SEMH, SEND, and additional behavioural needs
Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and positive learning environments
Work closely with support staff, SENCOs and leadership teams
Follow safeguarding and school compliance proceduresCandidate Requirements
To be considered for this Science Teacher role, you must have:
QTS, QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Passion for supporting students with additional needs
Excellent communication and organisational skillsBenefits
