How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Flexible Daily Supply Teaching Assistant
    Location: Lambeth, London, SW2
    Pay: £85–£100 per day
    Contract: Part-time, long-term temporary
    Start date: 1 September 2026
    Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are available for candidates with extensive experience and relevant training. Pay is determined in line with Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
    Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in primary schools?
    Transparency Education is seeking reliable and adaptable Daily Supply Teaching Assistants to support schools across Lambeth from September 2026.
    This opportunity is ideal for candidates who want to choose their working days while continuing to gain valuable experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and SEND settings. Assignments may range from general classroom support to one-to-one assistance and small-group intervention work.
    The Role
    As a Daily Supply Teaching Assistant, you may be asked to:
    • Support teachers with the delivery of classroom activities.
    • Work with individual pupils or small groups.
    • Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy, phonics and topic-based learning.
    • Support children with SEND or additional learning needs.
    • Help pupils remain focused, engaged and included.
    • Prepare resources and organise learning spaces.
    • Supervise pupils during breaks, transitions and school activities.
    • Follow school behaviour policies and classroom routines.
    • Provide relevant feedback to the class teacher.
    • Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups and pupil needs.
    • Maintain safeguarding, confidentiality and professional standards.
    About You
    Suitable candidates will:
    • Have previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or youth setting.
    • Be confident supporting learning in a primary classroom.
    • Be patient, positive and able to build rapport quickly.
    • Follow instructions and work effectively with different teachers.
    • Be punctual, dependable and professionally presented.
    • Be comfortable working across different year groups.
    • Have good spoken and written English.
    • Understand the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality.
    • Be available for regular part-time work during the school week.
    • A teaching assistant, childcare or SEND qualification would be helpful, but relevant practical experience will also be considered.
