The Role
As a Mobile Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance of trailers, ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard and remain safe, reliable and roadworthy.
The role will involve working independently while providing a professional service, carrying out preventative maintenance and diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults as required.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
Complete repairs to a high standard
Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate records of work completed
Ensure trailers meet relevant safety and compliance standards
Work independently while delivering a professional service
Requirements
Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, HGV Technician or similar
Strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience
Experience working on trailers is highly desirable
Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs effectively
A professional and reliable approach to work
Full UK driving licence
