AMB Recruitment Group are seeking a Warehouse Manager for a well-established company. Please see below the details of the role.

Job Overview:

Start Date: To be confirmed

Duration: 3 years

Rate of Pay: Negotiable dependent on experience

Location: Walsall

Hours Worked per Week: Monday-Friday 8:00-16:30

Experience Needed:  

Deep knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems like or to track inventory and automate workflows.
Ability to analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as order pick accuracy, inventory turnover, and dock-to-stock time.
Expertise in cycle counting, demand forecasting, and auditing methodologies to minimize shrinkage and stockouts.
Understanding of logistics routing, cross-docking, and reverse logistics processes.
Proven capability to recruit, train, schedule, and motivate diverse shifts of warehouse floor staff.
Ability to quickly manage and resolve workplace disputes under high-stress peak seasons.
Skill in translating corporate logistics goals into clear daily instructions for warehouse operators.
Capacity to smoothly guide the team through technological upgrades or layout reorganizations.
Mastery of 5S principles, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to eliminate waste and optimize layout workflows.
Ability to manage labor costs, equipment maintenance, and operational expenses against a fixed budgetPayment Options: CIS and Umbrella
