* Hands-on experience designing, prototyping, testing, and iterating mechanical solutions within a regulated industry such as medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
* Strong knowledge of materials properties, tolerancing, and processing parameters for plastics and polymer components.
* Ability to translate concepts through CAD modelling and detail drawings, with practical experience in physical prototyping and validation.
* Experience in design-for-manufacture, collaborating with tooling and production partners to scale prototypes into repeatable products.
* Familiarity with robotics, automation, or mechatronics applied within medical devices or healthcare equipment is advantageous.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to independently own projects from inception to delivery, balancing creativity with regulatory considerations.
