How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

In the Website Manager role, you will be responsible for:

Managing and developing the organisation's website, ensuring it remains user-friendly, accessible and aligned with best practice.
Overseeing website content, reviewing updates and supporting colleagues with the Content Management System (CMS).
Improving digital journeys and landing pages to increase engagement and conversion through data-led decision making.
Monitoring website performance using analytics tools and providing recommendations for ongoing improvements.

Previous experience managing and developing large, complex websites using a Content Management System.
Strong knowledge of SEO, web accessibility (WCAG), Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and digital analytics tools such as GA4.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality web content and documentation.
Good organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with experience supporting website improvements.
Welsh language skills and experience using TerminalFour CMS would be advantageous but are not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation on a temporary basis until December 2026, where you'll play a key role in shaping its digital presence and enhancing the online experience for a wide range of users. The role is offering a payrate of £26.50 per hour holiday pay and is working full time Monday – Friday.
