This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking Maths department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to secondary-aged students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic success.
* Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
* Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support attainment.
* Contribute to departmental initiatives and wider school life.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Has experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting.
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
* Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Is committed to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
* Is enthusiastic, adaptable and able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
