How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A design-led construction consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join its London team and deliver complex cladding, fire-safety and building-safety remediation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with strong consultancy experience to work across existing residential buildings alongside selected new-build construction schemes. The successful Project Manager will coordinate clients, residents, consultants and contractors while maintaining control of programme, risk, quality and statutory compliance.

The Project Manager will lead commissions through investigation, design, procurement, construction and handover. This Project Manager role requires a strong understanding of façade remediation, fire-safety works and the challenges associated with occupied buildings. As the Project Manager, you will provide clear advice to clients, manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects progress in line with the Building Safety Act and relevant regulatory requirements.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will lead cladding and fire-safety remediation schemes across London, including façade replacement, compartmentation works, fire-door programmes and wider building-safety improvements. Responsibilities will include developing project programmes, managing risk registers, coordinating surveys and design information, and preparing clear progress reports.

The Project Manager will chair meetings, oversee consultant and contractor performance, support procurement and monitor delivery against agreed cost, quality and programme objectives. You will also manage stakeholder communication with building owners, developers, managing agents, residents and regulatory bodies.

Alongside remediation work, the Project Manager will support new-build construction projects from pre-contract stages through to completion.

    The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

    Construction consultancy project management experience.
Experience delivering cladding, façade or fire-safety remediation projects.
Knowledge of building-safety remediation and the Building Safety Act.
Experience working on occupied residential buildings.
    New-build construction experience.
A relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
Membership of, or progress towards, RICS, APM or CIOB chartership.
Strong contract, stakeholder-management and reporting skills.

    In Return?

    £50,000 - £60,000
    Support towards professional chartership.
Exposure to major London remediation and new-build projects.
    Pension and annual leave package.
Ongoing technical training and career development.
Clear progression towards Senior Project Manager.
