How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Commercial structuring: Build pricing models, ensure margin alignment and highlight technical and regulatory advantages including OCIMF, SIGTTO and SIRE 2.0 compliance.

    * Stakeholder engagement: Act as the commercial interface with customers and channel partners; support vendor registrations and prepare executive‑level presentation materials.

    * Process & reporting: Maintain CRM‑integrated bid tracking, deliver monthly KPI reports and drive continuous improvement across templates, workflows and lessons‑learned activity.

    Person Specification

    Essential

    * Degree in engineering, business or a related technical discipline.

    * 5+ years’ bid/proposal management experience in offshore oil & gas, marine, subsea or capital equipment.

    * Proven success managing complex proposals to major operators or NOCs.

    * Strong commercial acumen and contract/pricing literacy.

    * Excellent written English and ability to produce high‑quality submissions under pressure.

    * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/bid management tools.

    Desirable

    * Familiarity with OCIMF SIRE 2.0, SIGTTO or comparable regulatory frameworks.

    * Experience bidding to major operators or NOCs.

    * Knowledge of FPSO/FSO offtake operations, terminal infrastructure or STS logistics.

    * Understanding of emergency disconnection systems or safety‑critical fluid transfer equipment.

    * Experience supporting vendor pre‑qualification and AVL submissions.

    What’s on Offer

    * A pivotal role at the commercial front line of a high‑growth product portfolio.

    * Exposure to strategic global accounts and regulatory bodies.

    * Competitive salary and performance‑related bonus.

    * Backing from a global engineering group.

    * A collaborative, technically expert team committed to safer offshore transfer worldwide.

    *UK based candidates only
