How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Project Manager – Product Development Programme

    Bristol | Hybrid | £62,000 - £75,000 + Benefits

    The Opportunity

We're partnering with an innovative, investor-backed technology business that's entering an exciting phase of growth. Having successfully developed a cutting-edge product, they're now looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a major programme that will take the business from successful early deployments through to full commercial scale.

Working across engineering, software, product and commercial teams, you'll take ownership of a high-value programme, ensuring multiple technical workstreams remain aligned, risks are managed and key milestones are delivered on time and within budget. This is a genuine opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing, technology-led organisation.

    The Culture

This isn't a corporate environment with layers of process and bureaucracy. It's a growing, investor-backed technology business where things move quickly, priorities evolve and everyone plays a part in shaping the future.

They're looking for someone who embraces that challenge—someone who's proactive, adaptable, commercially minded and enjoys taking ownership. You'll be the type of person who spots problems before they become issues, works collaboratively across teams and thrives in an environment where no two weeks look the same.

If you're excited by the opportunity to help build something, influence how a business scales and be part of an ambitious growth journey, you'll fit in well here.

    The Role

    You'll be responsible for:

    * Leading the delivery of a multi-million-pound product development programme.

    * Building and managing integrated project plans across multiple technical workstreams.

    * Coordinating engineering, software, product, operations and commercial teams.

    * Managing programme budgets, resources, timelines and project risks.

    * Driving governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement across the programme.

    * Working closely with customers, suppliers and external partners.

    * Ensuring key deliverables are validated, documented and successfully transitioned into commercial deployment.

    * Producing regular reporting and updates for senior leadership.

    * Identifying and removing delivery risks to keep projects moving at pace.

    * Supporting the ongoing growth and maturity of programme management across the business.

    About You

You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, bringing structure to complexity and working with highly skilled technical teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.

    You'll ideally have:

    * Proven Project or Programme Management experience within a technology, engineering or product development environment.

    * Experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving multiple stakeholders.

    * Strong planning, budgeting, scheduling and risk management skills.

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

    * The confidence to influence technical and commercial teams alike.

    * Experience working within growing or scaling technology businesses.

    * A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP or similar).

    * Previous experience delivering complex engineering or technology projects would be highly advantageous, particularly within hardware, electronics, instrumentation, manufacturing or other technically advanced environments.

    Desirable

    * Experience delivering publicly funded or innovation-led programmes.

    * Exposure to hardware, electronics, manufacturing or advanced technology businesses.

    * Experience taking products from development through to commercial release.

    Why Apply?

This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of its growth. You'll play a key role in shaping how an innovative product reaches commercial scale while working alongside talented engineers, technical specialists and senior leaders who are passionate about what they're building.

If you're looking for a role where you'll genuinely influence the future of a business, rather than simply manage projects, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply and to find out more
