Painter & Decorator

At Phoenix Gray, we are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our reputable client’s dynamic construction team in Runcorn, Cheshire. This pivotal role involves delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various projects, ensuring surfaces are finished to predefined standards. You'll be expected to undertake all aspects of painting and decorating, including gloss, emulsion, and preparation work, maintaining a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. To thrive in this position, you should possess a comprehensive tool kit, comprising brushes, rollers, scuttles, extensions, scrapers, and whites (overalls). The ability to work independently or as part of a team, meeting deadlines and maintaining safety standards, is essential.

Valid CSCS card is required for the role.

NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator, ideally within a construction environment.

Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety regulations.

Full painting toolkit including brushes, rollers, scuttles, extensions, scrapers, and whites.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is a plus.
