Site Engineer

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Engineer to help deliver a marine and tunnelling package on the Sizewell C project, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, working on a complex package involving marine works, underground infrastructure, and heavy civil engineering.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

* Toolbox talks

* Client liaison

* Health and safety compliance

* Setting out for marine and tunnelling works

* Supervising subcontractors and day-to-day site activities

* Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification

* Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records

* Carrying out surveys and resolving engineering and technical queries

* Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to coordinate project delivery

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

Site Engineer Requirements:

* Black or Gold CSCS

* Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on marine, tunnelling, or major civil engineering projects

* Experience with marine structures, shafts, tunnelling, reinforced concrete, or heavy civils would be advantageous

* Strong setting out and surveying experience

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

* IT literate

* Full UK driving licence
