How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer
    London
    £50,000 per annum + £140 per week Call-Out + Unlimited Overtime
    Options Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider covering commercial properties across London.
    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a long-term role with a competitive salary, generous call-out allowance and plenty of overtime available.
    The Role
    You'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings. The role involves fault finding, testing and inspection, ensuring all electrical systems are maintained safely and efficiently.
    Key Responsibilities
    - Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems.
    - Attend reactive maintenance call-outs and diagnose electrical faults.
    - Complete electrical testing and inspection works.
    - Carry out repairs and minor installation works.
    - Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and health & safety procedures.
    - Accurately complete job reports and maintenance documentation.
    - Participate in the on-call rota.
    Requirements
    - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
    - City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification is essential.
    - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
    - Previous experience within commercial building maintenance.
    - Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
    - Full UK driving licence.
    Package
