Key Responsibilities
* Receive, inspect and book in deliveries of construction materials and equipment.
* Organise and maintain the site stores, ensuring all stock is clearly identified and safely stored.
* Issue tools, PPE, and materials to site operatives, maintaining accurate records.
* Carry out regular stock checks and report shortages or discrepancies.
* Order replacement stock when required.
* Inspect tools and equipment, arranging repairs or replacements where necessary.
* Ensure the stores area is clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
* Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers and site teams.
* Maintain accurate inventory and delivery documentation.
* Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in a construction stores, warehouse, or logistics role.
* Good organisational and stock control skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
* Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and stock management systems.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
* Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
* CSCS Card.
* Experience using inventory management software.
* Knowledge of construction materials, plant, and equipment.
