Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault-finding of renewable energy and low-carbon heating systems across the South West and Wales.
Working alongside Project Managers and clients, you'll play an integral role in delivering high-quality installations that support the UK's net-zero ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission and maintain renewable energy and energy efficiency systems, including:
* Solar PV installations
* EV charging infrastructure
* LED lighting upgrades
* Underfloor heating systems and associated controls
* Conduct site surveys, inspections and technical assessments across multiple UK locations.
* Carry out fault diagnosis, repairs and planned maintenance to ensure optimum system performance.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with BS7671 and current industry regulations.
* Support the integration and delivery of heat decarbonisation projects and low-carbon heating solutions.
* Work collaboratively with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients to deliver projects safely, on time and to the highest standards.
* Complete all commissioning documentation, certification and technical reports accurately.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
* Proven experience installing and maintaining renewable technologies, including Solar PV, EV charging and LED lighting.
* Experience working with underfloor heating systems or other low-carbon heating technologies.
* A strong understanding of energy efficiency and heat decarbonisation principles.
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* A willingness to travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
* A full UK driving licence.
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable)

£40000.00 - £45000.00 per year
