Are you a people person with a passion for delivering great customer service?
We're working with an exciting and well-established main dealer group representing a German automotive brand, based in Medway, who are looking for a Service Advisor to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. Previous Service Advisor experience is desirable, but it's not essential — what's most important is that you have the right attitude, a positive personality and a genuine customer-focused approach.
The group is well known for looking after its staff and developing people from within, with genuine opportunities to progress your career. In fact, two people we placed with the group last year have already progressed into Senior Service Advisor positions.
The Role
As a Service Advisor, you'll be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives an excellent experience from booking their vehicle in through to collection.
Responsibilities
* Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional service
* Booking vehicles into the workshop and understanding customer requirements
* Liaising with Technicians and keeping customers updated on vehicle progress
* Preparing estimates and explaining any additional work required
* Managing customer expectations throughout the process
* Building strong, lasting relationships with customers
* Working as part of a supportive and experienced team
* Delivering excellent customer satisfaction while working towards team and individual targets
Requirements
* Previous Service Advisor experience is desirable, but not essential
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A naturally customer-focused approach
* Someone who is organised, professional and confident dealing with people
* Experience using Kerridge or Keyloop DMS (formerly ADP/CDK) would be advantageous, but strong candidates from other backgrounds will be fully considered

Salary and Benefits
* £28,500 basic salary
* Highly achievable bonus scheme, averaging £7,000 per year
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm - 1-hour lunch break
* No weekend working
