A well-established main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a large design-and-build project in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme with a contractor that has a strong pipeline of secured work across South Wales.
The Role
Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors
Drive the programme and ensure key milestones are achieved
Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and site presentation
Work closely with the Project Manager, design team and commercial team
Manage inspections, snagging and project handover requirements
Build effective relationships with the client, consultants and supply chain
About You
Proven experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor
A strong track record of working on construction projects valued at £10m or above
Previous design-and-build project experience
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
Sound knowledge of construction programmes, quality control and health and safety
Relevant qualifications, including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
