How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Stores Coordinator 
    Banbury ( OX16 )
    Monday to Friday – 0900 until 1700

    Our prestigious client based in Banbury, are looking for an experienced Stores Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position within a well established and growing business.

    The Role –  Stores Coordinator 

    The Stores Coordinator is responsible for the day to day management of the team's stores and inventory. The Stores Coordinator helps maintain stock accuracy, supports efficient material flow and ensures parts are available when needed.

    Key accountabilites –

    Inventory Management:

    Receive, inspect and book in deliveries.
    Label and store parts correctly.
    Maintain accurate inventory records within the stock management system.
    Carry out regular stock counts and annual stocktakes.
    Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
    Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages.
    Goods In and Goods Out:

    Process incoming and outgoing deliveries.
    Prepare components for internal departments and external shipments.
    Ensure all goods are packed and labelled correctly.
    Maintain records of deliveries and collections.
    Liaise with couriers and transport providers.
    Stores Operations:

    Issue parts, tools and consumables to internal customers.
    Ensure returned items are checked and correctly booked back into stock.
    Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment.
    Manage shelf locations and optimise storage space.
    Ensure correct handling of high-value race components.
    Support to Operations:

    Prepare equipment and parts for events and testing.
    Assist with kit preparation and returns following events.
    Help ensure all required parts are available before shipment.
    Purchasing Support:

    Raise requests for replenishment when stock reaches minimum levels.
    Support Goods Received Note (GRN) processes.
    Work closely with Purchasing to resolve delivery issues.
    Compliance:

    Follow company Health & Safety procedures.
    Maintain accurate documentation and traceability.
    Support internal and external audits.
    Ensure controlled storage of regulated materials where applicable.
    Pay & benefits –

    £27,000-£35,000 (Depending on experience)

    Knowledge & Experience -

    Essential:

    Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or inventory role.
    Experience using stock control or ERP systems.
    Good understanding of inventory management.
    Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
    Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
    Good organisational skills.
    High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    Desirable:

    Experience in motorsport, automotive or engineering.
    Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
    Experience using barcode scanning systems.
    Understanding of engineering components and tooling.
    Experience preparing freight for international shipments.

    Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or Engineering.
