The day-to-day of this role involves programming, setting and operating CNC mill-turn machines, interpreting engineering drawings, selecting tooling, optimising machining processes, carrying out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment, and ensuring all components are manufactured to the tight tolerances required within the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC Mill-Turn programming experience, be confident using Fanuc controls, have excellent knowledge of multi-axis machining, and be capable of working independently to produce high-quality precision components.
