How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Training Consultant

    Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid Working)

Contract Length: 3 months with the strong possibility of extensions

    The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Training Consultant to lead the design, development and delivery of training solutions for a major finance transformation programme. This role will focus on supporting the implementation and adoption of new finance systems, including SAP S/4HANA and contract management applications, ensuring end users are equipped with the knowledge and skills required for a successful transition.

Working closely with programme teams, implementation partners and Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), you will develop engaging learning solutions, deliver training to end users and Super Users, and play a critical role in driving business readiness and user adoption ahead of go-live.

This is an excellent opportunity for a training professional with experience in systems implementation, ERP programmes and change initiatives within a finance or regulated business environment.

    Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and deliver high-quality training materials and learning solutions to support finance system implementations, including SAP S/4HANA and contract management platforms.
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify learning requirements, capability gaps and impacted user groups.
Translate complex system functionality, process changes and technical concepts into clear, engaging and user-friendly learning content.
Deliver training to end users and Super Users using a blend of learning methods, including classroom-based, virtual and digital training solutions.
Participate in Train-the-Trainer sessions delivered by implementation partners and cascade knowledge through effective end-user training programmes.
Work closely with Finance SMEs and Super Users to validate training content and support knowledge transfer across the business.
Develop training plans and schedules aligned to programme milestones, deployment activities and go-live requirements.
Create and maintain supporting documentation, including process guides, user manuals, quick-reference materials and job aids.
Manage and maintain training content within learning management systems or equivalent learning platforms.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, stakeholder engagement and adoption metrics, implementing improvements where required.
Attend project and programme meetings, contributing to discussions that impact learning and business readiness.
Provide regular progress updates to programme stakeholders, highlighting achievements, dependencies, risks and readiness activities.
Identify and manage training-related risks, escalating issues and recommending mitigation actions where appropriate.

    Skills and Experience

    Essential

Proven experience designing, developing and delivering training solutions within transformation programmes or large-scale system implementations.
Demonstrable experience delivering system and process training in finance, financial services or another regulated environment.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, with SAP S/4HANA experience highly desirable.
Strong ability to convert complex technical information and business processes into accessible and engaging training materials.
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills across face-to-face, virtual and digital delivery formats.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, and experience using content creation tools.

    Desirable

Experience delivering training for contract management systems within asset finance, consumer finance or similar sectors.
Knowledge of Train-the-Trainer methodologies and experience supporting Super Users or Business Champions.
Understanding of recognised learning methodologies such as ADDIE.
Professional learning and development qualifications such as CIPD, TAP or equivalent.

    Personal Attributes

A proactive and adaptable self-starter with a hands-on approach to delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced programme environments.
Highly motivated, delivery-focused and accountable for achieving objectives.
Collaborative and supportive, with a commitment to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Skilled at building credibility and trust across programme teams, SMEs and business stakeholders.
Able to understand the broader business impacts of change and translate these into practical, effective learning solutions that support successful adoption and long-term operational success. If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
