A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team in Bishopton. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a well-established site, carrying out a varied mix of planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
The Role
As the Electrical Engineer, you'll:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment across site.
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests and electrical breakdowns.
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
* Perform electrical inspections, testing, and ensure compliance with current regulations.
* Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high service standards.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and health & safety requirements.
You
To be successful in the role of Electrical Engineer, you'll bring:
* Previous experience within electrical maintenance, building services, or industrial engineering.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical systems.
* Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
* A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) are advantageous. An 18th Edition qualification is desirable.
