How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You will play a key role in product maintenance, technical documentation, design modifications, and engineering change activities.

You will be capable of working with minimal supervision and bringing previous experience from a regulated manufacturing environment where quality, compliance, and documentation are critical.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead engineering activities for assigned product ranges

Drive design transfer and product change initiatives

Manage engineering change projects from concept through implementation

Support the ongoing maintenance of technical and design documentation

Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, verification activities, and root cause investigations

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and supply chain teams

Maintain product data, drawings, specifications, and bills of materials within PLM systems

Investigate product issues and implement robust engineering solutions

Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives

Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders and customers as required

    Essential Requirements

Circa 5+ years' experience in a Design Engineering or Sustaining Engineering role

Proven experience managing design changes and product lifecycle activities

Background working within a regulated industry

    Strong CAD experience (any considered)

Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation

Knowledge of design verification, validation, risk management, and engineering problem-solving methodologies

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or HND/HNC supported by significant relevant industry experience

You will become part of a collaborative engineering function that supports a broad portfolio of existing products. The team includes specialists in design engineering, product lifecycle management, validation and verification, and technical compliance, providing a varied and technically engaging working environment.
