How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Full Time | 37 Hours Per Week

    Are you passionate about Health & Social Care and committed to helping learners achieve their potential?

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join our growing team, delivering engaging and inspiring teaching across Levels 1, 2 and 3 programmes.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator or industry professional looking to move into teaching. If you do not currently hold a teaching qualification, support may be available to help you achieve one.

    The Role

    You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, supporting students to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future employment or progression into higher education.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Delivering engaging Health & Social Care lessons across a range of programmes.

    * Planning lessons and developing learning resources.

    * Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback.

    * Monitoring learner progress and supporting achievement.

    * Acting as a tutor and providing guidance and support to students.

    * Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.

    * Supporting student recruitment, induction and enrichment activities.

    * Working collaboratively with colleagues, employers and external partners.

    * Promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment.

    About You

    We are looking for someone with:

    * A relevant degree or professional qualification in Health & Social Care or a related subject.

    * At least two years' industry experience and/or relevant teaching or training experience.

    * GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/Level 2 equivalent) or above.

    * A passion for teaching, learning and student success.

    * Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

    * The ability to motivate and inspire learners from a range of backgrounds.

    Desirable:

    * Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).

    * Experience teaching Health & Social Care programmes.

    * Experience tutoring or supporting learners.

    * Experience developing learning resources and curriculum materials.

    * Knowledge of learner tracking, target setting and student progress monitoring.
