How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description
    Based: Cardiff main office, when meeting clients other travel is expected.
    Salary Scale: MS3 £26,056.63-£26,577.76-£(phone number removed)
    Hours per week: 36:25 hours 5 days per week
    Fixed term basis to 30th April 2028 maybe extended subject to funding.
    Offer is subject to Eligibility to Work in the UK check, satisfactory references and enhanced DBS.

    Our innovative Young Adult Hub is the first of its kind in Wales to support young adults in the Criminal Justice System and are seeking an energetic worker to increase support for Ethnically Diverse young people. Our Young Adult Hub is located within the city centre and provides a trauma informed safe space for young adults to access.
    Job outline:
    * You will identify ethnically diverse young adults and work on their strengths through the delivery of our activities and support in a trauma informed way.
    * You will help the delivery for young adults and support the provision of a wide range of activities which include well-being, cooking and access to wider support activities.
    * To work with our wider team and partners to develop their skills and support networks.
    You’ll bring:
    * Experience supporting young people.
    * Knowledge of the need of young adults in the criminal justice system.
    * Confidence working in multi-agency operational partnerships.
