The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers between distribution hubs and fulfilment centres, ensuring deliveries are completed on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Your responsibilities will include:

Safely operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle across the UK.

Delivering and collecting trailers to fulfilment centres.
*
Completing trailer drop and swap movements.
*
Using satellite navigation and route planning tools to ensure efficient journeys.
*
Carrying out daily vehicle walk-around inspections and reporting any defects promptly.
*
Completing all relevant driver paperwork and ensuring compliance with transport legislation.
*
Building positive relationships with customers and site personnel through professional communication.
*
Adhering to all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations.
Please note: This role involves drop and swap trailer movements only. No handball or manual handling is required.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

A valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
*
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
*
A Digital Tachograph Card.
*
No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
*
The legal right to work in the UK.
*
A professional attitude with excellent safety awareness.
*
Good communication and customer service skills.
A minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience is preferred; however, newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
Successful newly qualified drivers will undertake a structured driver training programme and will be required to sign a Training Rebate Agreement following successful placement.
