The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play a key role in helping children transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1. You'll support pupils as they develop core literacy and numeracy skills, build confidence in their learning and establish the foundations that will support their progress throughout primary school.You'll create engaging and stimulating learning experiences, encourage curiosity and independence, and help every child achieve their full potential in a nurturing classroom environment.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.
We're Looking for Teachers Who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
Can deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupil progress
Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Are committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Bring enthusiasm, patience and a passion for education to the classroom
