Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
* Fabricate components to the required quality standards.
* Inspect completed work to ensure it meets drawing specifications and company quality procedures.
* Complete production paperwork accurately and record stock where required.
* Remove burrs and ensure all parts are clearly identified.
* Prepare and palletise finished products for the next stage of production.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
* Carry out routine equipment maintenance checks.
* Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production and quality targets.
* Complete additional duties within your competency as required by Team Leaders or Management.
Requirements
* Previous fabrication experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work safely, independently, and efficiently to meet production targets.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of production when required.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
* Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm
Friday 7:00am - 11:00am
Salary description
£13.00 - £16.00 per year
