This is a dynamic hhybrid role requiring regular travel to projects and our offices when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of electrical projects from mobilisation through to practical completion and final account.
* Plan, programme, and coordinate labour, materials, plant, and specialist subcontractors.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and statutory authorities.
* Ensure full compliance with BS 7671, Building Regulations, health & safety legislation, and client specifications.
* Review and manage electrical designs, technical submissions, drawings, and coordination with other disciplines.
* Oversee procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and energisation.
* Chair project meetings and provide clear updates on programme, cost, quality, and risk.
* Manage QA documentation, O&M manuals, as-installed drawings, and handover processes.
* Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks.
* Support variations, change control, and final account settlement.
* Build strong client relationships for repeat business.
Key Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager in retail fit out or commercial fit-out sectors.
* In-depth knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, power, controls, data, security systems, and commissioning.
* Strong understanding of current Building Regulations.
* Proven commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and programmes.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
