How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Own the future of Salesforce Marketing Cloud within one of the UK's most recognised not-for-profit organisations.

We're partnering with not-for-profit organisation as they continue a major digital transformation, investing heavily in Salesforce and modernising the technology that supports a large user base.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is becoming a strategic platform across the organisation, and they're looking for someone to take ownership of its future - someone who can combine deep technical expertise with the ability to influence stakeholders and bridge the gap between technology and the business.

You'll play a key role in driving digitalisation, personalisation and modernisation, helping the organisation to deliver highly personalised, data-driven communications at scale.

    Why this opportunity?
Salesforce is a major area of investment for our client. You'll join at an exciting time as the organisation continues to embed Salesforce Marketing Cloud within its wider technology ecosystem while exploring next-generation capabilities including Marketing Cloud on Core and Salesforce Data Cloud.

This is far more than a platform support role-it's an opportunity to shape strategy, influence architecture and help define the future of organisations technical landscape.

You'll also lead a small team of two specialists, providing technical leadership while remaining hands-on with the platform.

If you've come from a consultancy background, enjoy solving complex technical challenges and love working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, this role will be right up your street.

    What you'll be doing

Owning Salesforce Marketing Cloud from a technical and architectural perspective.
Designing scalable, enterprise-grade Marketing Cloud solutions.
Building customer journeys, automation and personalisation across Marketing Cloud Engagement.
Developing solutions using AMPscript, SSJS and SQL.
Leading integrations with Salesforce and wider enterprise systems.
Driving platform governance, security and best practice.
Supporting the adoption of Marketing Cloud on Core and Data Cloud.
Leading and mentoring two team members while remaining hands-on technically.
Working closely with engineering, CRM, data and marketing teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
    What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with great communication skills.
    You'll ideally have experience with:

Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio and Mobile Studio

Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and ideally Data Cloud
Data modelling, segmentation and customer personalisation
Technical architecture, governance and platform ownership
Just as importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys collaborating across the business, influencing stakeholders and helping people understand what's possible through technology.

As a purpose-driven organisation with a commercial arm, you'll enjoy the stability and innovation of a modern technology organisation while contributing to something that has a real impact on people across the UK.

Alongside meaningful work, you'll benefit from one of the strongest employee value propositions in the market:

Salary up to £65,000 (£60,000 preferred, with flexibility for the right person)
    Hybrid working but very flexible.
    35-hour working week
    Great pension contributions
30 days annual leave plus additional Christmas closure
A genuine people-first culture with an excellent work-life balance
Significant investment in Salesforce, Digital Services and emerging technologies
Supportive leadership and the opportunity to shape the future of the platform
If you're a forward-thinking Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert looking to own a strategic platform, lead a talented team and help shape the future of one of the UK's most important digital organisations, we'd love to hear from you
