We're recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer in Limerick for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering a competitive salary of €60,000 and long-term career development.
The Role
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of production and packaging equipment.
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
* Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
* Work closely with production teams to ensure maximum machine availability.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
About You
* Recognised engineering qualification (Level 6 Craft Certificate, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
* Multi-skilled with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
* Previous experience in food manufacturing or another fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
* PLC fault-finding experience is advantageous.
* Willingness to work a rotating three-shift pattern.
