Join a Leading Air Cargo & Logistics Operation
Hexagon Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing logistics business operating within the air freight sector.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor to lead their night operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for ensuring the warehouse runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule throughout the night while supporting the incoming day shift with a smooth operational handover.

The Role
Working closely with the Operations Team, you'll oversee the night warehouse operation, ensuring freight is handled safely, accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with drivers, warehouse staff and management.
This is not a desk-based supervisory position; you'll be actively involved in the day-to-day warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the warehouse operation throughout the night shift
* Lead and support warehouse operatives and drivers
* Coordinate the loading and unloading of company vehicles
* Load and unload cargo safely using MHE
* Build and break down aircraft pallets (ULDs)
* Ensure all freight and paperwork are checked for accuracy
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and operational compliance
* Liaise with the Operations Team throughout the shift
* Produce a detailed handover report for the incoming day shift
* Assist with any other warehouse duties required to ensure smooth operations
What We're Looking For
Essential
* Previous experience within a warehouse, transport or logistics environment
* Experience supervising or leading a warehouse team
* Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklift trucks up to 10 tonnes
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Strong understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
* Hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
Desirable
* Previous experience within the Air Cargo / Air Freight industry
* Background in customer service or transport operations
