If you're an experienced Buyer with a commercial mindset and a passion for developing product ranges, this could be the perfect role.
Talent Guardian is partnering with a well-established consumer goods business to recruit a Buyer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You'll take ownership of established branded product ranges, work closely with suppliers across the UK and Europe, and play a key role in bringing new products to market.
What you'll be doing:
Managing branded product ranges from selection through to launch.
Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements.
Analysing market trends, competitor activity and forecasting demand.
Monitoring product performance, sales and stock levels.
Building strong supplier relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
Supporting product launches, sales teams and stakeholder presentations.
Attending UK and European trade shows and supplier meetings. What we're looking for:
Previous Buying or Procurement experience.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Commercial awareness with excellent analytical ability.
Experience managing product ranges and forecasting.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident communicator who enjoys working with suppliers and stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage. What's in it for you?
