About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider for an experienced Registered Manager (RGN) to lead a welcoming, nurse-led elderly and dementia care home.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically focused leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care. Leading a dedicated team within a 40-bed service, you will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating a positive environment where residents and colleagues can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational management of the home
* Lead and support the clinical and care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all regulatory requirements
* Drive continuous improvement in quality, governance, and resident outcomes
* Oversee clinical governance, medication management, and safeguarding practices
* Develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing multidisciplinary team
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders
* Manage budgets, occupancy, and operational performance to ensure a sustainable service
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a management role
* Strong clinical leadership within an elderly nursing and dementia care setting
* Thorough understanding of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and safeguarding
* Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
* Passion for delivering outstanding resident care and developing high-performing teams
* Commercial awareness with the ability to balance quality care and operational performance
