How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teacher – Oldham (Multiple Roles Available)
    Location: Oldham
    Employer: The Education Specialists (TES)
    Start Date: September 2026
    Contract: Long-term / Ongoing / Flexible within Trust
    Salary: £160 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
    Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

As a key staffing partner, all agency recruitment for the Trust will now be managed through TES, giving you exclusive access to a wide range of opportunities.
    We are currently recruiting SEN Teachers to support both Primary and Secondary specialist provisions across the Trust.

    About the Role
    You will be teaching pupils with a variety of additional needs, including:

    Autism (ASC)
    ADHD
    SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
    PMLD / Complex Needs
    Challenging behaviourSupport structures are strong across the Trust, with experienced TAs and leadership teams in place.

    Key Responsibilities

    Deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual needs
    Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies
    Track and support progress against EHCP targets
    Work collaboratively with SENCOs and wider staff teams
    Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment
    What We’re Looking For

    QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
    SEN or alternative provision experience (preferred)
    Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
    Adaptable, resilient, and proactive attitude
    Passion for making a difference in SEND education
