How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in leading shop floor teams, managing inbound and outbound material flows, and embedding core logistics standards to ensure internal production needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

    Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily inbound, outbound, and internal logistics activities on the shop floor.

Lead, train, and empower warehouse staff, ensuring full cross-training and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Implement and enforce core logistics standards (FIFO, labeling, traceability, stock transfers, and rack/pallet management).

Lead 5S activities and implement visual management tools across the shop floor.

Ensure accurate ERP transactions by end-users and address data adjustments or system modifications.

Proactively identify productivity gains to minimise stock handling effort and transport costs.

Diagnose operational bottlenecks, manage logistics risks, and foster a strong continuous improvement culture.

    Experience

Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or logistics environment, ideally in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of core logistics principles (5S, FIFO, stock optimisation, visual management).

Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office packages.

Background within the automotive manufacturing sector is highly desirable.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage shop floor teams effectively.
