How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Production Manager (CNC)

    Burnley

    £45,000 to £50,000 (Flexible DOE) + Profit Share Incentive + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Vink Reward Scheme + Training Opportunities

    40 Hours per Week Monday to Friday – 13:30 Finish on Friday

    Production Manager required for a successful manufacturing company with a 25-year trading history. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a growing company and play an integral role in developing production processes. This role truly offers the opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact with company plans to move into a new facility in the near future.

    Candidates will need experience working in a CNC machining environment and will need familiarity with 4/5 axis machining. This role would suit an experienced Production Manager, Supervisor/Team Leader or similar looking to take the next step in their career. Knowledge of CAD is also required.

    The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing manufacturing operations, which will involve overseeing a workshop of 14 people with headcount expected to increase.

    The Production Manager will be responsible for the implementation of new manufacturing processes and improvements, including the implementation of new KPIs and monitoring systems.

    The Production Manager Role:

    · Establishment of new manufacturing processes
    · Manufacturing / capacity planning – working with one off and bulk orders
    · Management of lead times
    · Quality management – quality checks of parts and processes
    · Managing a team of 14 in the workshop and 2 in the drawing office
    · Using CAD to support the development of designs to be shared with customers
    · Ensuring H&S standards onsite

    The Production Manager Candidate:

    · Experience working in a CNC machining environment
    · Leadership/management experience
    · CAD knowledge
