Salary: £34,777 – £39,249 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (37.5 hours)

The Company
A well-established textile manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. This is a permanent days-based role supporting a busy manufacturing operation, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure maximum production uptime.
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment.
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
* Responding to production breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
* Supporting machinery upgrades and installation projects.
* Working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* Completing maintenance documentation using the CMMS system.
* Supporting continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime.
* Working closely with production to improve machine reliability.
The Candidate
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer.
* Strong mechanical fault-finding skills with electrical knowledge.
* Experience within manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
* Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyor systems.
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification (preferred but not essential).
