Howard James Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Branch Manager on behalf of a successful and well-established independent property business.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a busy lettings branch, leading an established team while driving business growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high operational and compliance standards.

The Role
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the branch, ensuring financial targets, customer satisfaction and compliance standards are consistently achieved.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day operations of a busy lettings office.

Leading, motivating and developing an established team.
*
Monitoring branch performance against financial, operational and customer service KPIs.
*
Conducting regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and coaching sessions.
*
Ensuring the branch consistently delivers excellent levels of customer service to landlords, tenants and applicants.
*
Identifying opportunities to grow the lettings portfolio and generate new business.
*
Carrying out rental valuations and market appraisals.
*
Developing relationships with new and existing landlords.
*
Supporting the recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members.
*
Working closely with senior management to review branch performance and implement business improvements.
*
Ensuring all lettings activities remain fully compliant with current legislation and industry regulations.
*
Resolving customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced property professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record within residential lettings.
You will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager or Senior Lettings Manager.
*
A minimum of 5 years' experience within residential lettings.
*
Previous experience managing, mentoring and developing a team.
*
Excellent knowledge of current lettings legislation and industry compliance.
*
Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*
The ability to work under pressure whilst managing multiple priorities.
*
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
*
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
*
A full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
*
ARLA Propertymark qualification.
*
Experience within student lettings or HMO property management.
*
Experience in business development and portfolio growth.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, full-time.
