How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Be part of bringing new products from concept into production.

We're supporting a leading advanced engineering and manufacturing organisation developing complex, safety-critical products. As the business continues to invest in new technologies and manufacturing capability, we're looking for an NPI Quality Engineer or Senior NPI Quality Engineer to play a key role in ensuring quality is built into every stage of product development.

This is an opportunity to influence how new products are designed, validated and introduced into manufacture, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Project teams from concept through to production.

    The Role

You'll be responsible for embedding quality throughout the New Product Introduction process, ensuring robust planning, risk management and governance while driving a right-first-time culture.

    Responsibilities include:

Supporting New Product Introduction from design through to production handover
Applying quality planning tools including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, FAIRs and Control Plans
Supporting prototype manufacture, verification and validation activities
Leading root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring manufacturing readiness through effective quality planning
Developing KPIs and reporting on NPI quality performance
Working across Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to improve product quality and reduce risk

    About You

You'll have experience working within a highly regulated engineering or manufacturing environment where quality is critical.

    We're looking for someone with:

Experience in aerospace, defence, automotive, medical devices or another advanced manufacturing sector
Knowledge of New Product Introduction or Product Development processes
Experience using quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, FAIRs, Control Plans and 8D methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions
HNC, HND or Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience

For the Senior position, you'll also have experience leading quality activities, mentoring colleagues and driving continuous improvement across NPI programmes.

    Why Join?

You'll join a business investing heavily in innovation, manufacturing capability and operational excellence. This is a role where you'll have genuine influence over how future products are developed and manufactured, with excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.

If you're looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a technically challenging environment, we'd like to hear from you
