About the Role
The Microsoft 365 Collaboration Administrator is responsible for the administration, governance, security, and continuous improvement of Microsoft's collaboration and productivity platforms, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Viva, Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot. This role ensures collaboration services remain secure, compliant, user-friendly, and aligned with business and operational requirements.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies with a passion for user enablement, automation, and digital transformation. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end users, this individual will play a key role in driving adoption, improving information governance, enhancing productivity, and supporting the organization's AI-enabled workplace initiatives.
Experience Required
Microsoft 365 Collaboration Expertise:
* Hands-on experience supporting SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
* Working knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps.
* Experience managing permissions, access controls, governance, and information management within Microsoft 365 environments.
* Experience troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration services and end users.
* Experience utilizing PowerShell for administration, reporting, and automation activities.
* Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and governance best practices.
Additional Experience:
Experienced in administering SharePoint Online, including governance, permissions management, content organisation, and information management, with strong expertise in supporting Microsoft Teams administration, governance, and collaboration capabilities.
Skilled in developing and enhancing Power Platform solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate, alongside hands-on experience leveraging PowerShell to automate and administer Microsoft 365 environments.
Proven ability to support the implementation, administration, and adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, with experience using ShareGate, Quest, and similar migration tools to deliver successful Microsoft 365 transformation projects.
Holds relevant Microsoft certifications across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Copilot technologies.
