The Role:

Teach engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire students to develop their musical skills and creativity.
Support students in developing their knowledge of music theory, performance and composition.
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
Contribute to the wider life of the Music department and school community.
Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement.The Ideal Music Teacher:

Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Music education.
Is confident delivering engaging and creative lessons to students of varying abilities.
Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
