Warehouse Operative / Driver - Permanent

£26,000 - £29,500 per annum (DOE)
Monday to Friday | 11:30am - 8:30pm
Permanent | Full-Time

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative / Driver to join their busy and growing logistics operation based in Colnbrook. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience, a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence, and a full UK driving licence who is looking for a long-term, permanent position.

This is a varied role, combining warehouse duties with local collections and deliveries using a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
Receiving and checking inbound deliveries.
Organising stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Using warehouse IT systems to process shipments.
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
Completing local collections and deliveries in a company van.
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
Working closely with the operations team to meet daily deadlines.

What We're Looking For
Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
Previous warehouse experience.
Good IT skills and confidence using warehouse systems.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
Able to provide a full 5-year checkable employment history and successfully pass a DBS check.

Desirable Experience
Experience within freight forwarding, logistics or air cargo.
Knowledge of warehouse scanning systems.
Experience handling import and export shipments.
