How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate Accountancy Customer Support Consultant

    Location: Wokingham
    Salary: Up to £24,800

    Looking to kick-start your career after graduating?

    This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting, Accountancy or Finance graduate who enjoys working with people and wants to combine their technical knowledge with technology and customer support.

    You'll be joining a fast-growing fintech software company where you'll use your accounting knowledge to support customers using specialist accounting software. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to build a long-term career in fintech, software or accountancy support while continuing to develop their technical skills.

    What you'll be doing

    * Providing second-line support to customers via phone and email.

    * Helping customers get the most from the company's accounting software.

    * Becoming a product expert and sharing your knowledge with colleagues.

    * Creating and updating FAQs, user guides and support documentation.

    * Supporting the development of customer training materials.

    * Assisting with software testing and identifying product improvements.

    * Working closely with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

    About you

    * Degree in Accountancy or a related subject.

    * At least 6 months' customer service experience.

    * Good understanding of UK tax, financial statements and double-entry bookkeeping.

    * An interest in technology and accounting software.

    * Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.

    * Organised, analytical and eager to learn.
