TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist educational setting in the BA11 area that provides a person-centred, bespoke approach for students with autism and complex needs. The school promotes a calm, predictable and nurturing environment where respect, teamwork, pride, resilience and courage are at the heart of everything they do.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time Qualified Teacher (QTS) on a temporary basis from September. The successful Qualified Teacher (QTS) will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with autism and complex needs, working closely with support staff to promote academic progress, confidence and independence.
The successful Qualified Teacher (QTS) will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching children or young people with autism and/or complex needs
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
The ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient and flexible approach
